When visiting St. Croix don't miss Estate St. George Botanical Garden.
It consists of over 16 acres that used to be a sugarcane village and rum factory.
There are stone ruins of pre-plantation era buildings now serving as backdrops for the various plant collection.

During a summer visit we were pleased to attend the garden's Mango Festival.
There were mango exhibits, and various mango goodies to eat and drink.

At the Gardens you will find special collections including information
on native trees and medicinal herbs.
