St. Croix Chapter of the American Hibiscus Society
Every year in the middle of January the St. Croix Chapter
of the American Hibiscus Society
holds it's annual show. There are also discussions, meetings and trips throughout
the year on such items as growing hibiscus successfully, pest control,
and pruning for healthy growth.
At the annual show, blooms are presented and judged.
Visitors can obtain lots of information from experienced growers on ways
of
obtaining large, beautiful blooms, as well as techniques for growing
healthy plants and suggestions on plant varieties for beginners.
