Harbor Night - Frederiksted's Bi-Weekly Street Festival
Every other Wednesday in the normally sleepy town of
Frederiksted, cruise ships pull into
the deep harbor and the passengers, as well as the local Cruzians,
are treated to an evening of music and entertainment.
The shops are opened for the evening, and local arts and crafts are for sale.
All styles of music can be heard playing alnog the street
along the street:
African drums, Calypso, Latin, Reggae, and Rock.
Vendors provide local food and drinks, including fresh squeezed sugar cane with Cruzian Rum.
It is always a good party!
