St. Croix Condos For Sale
The Reef
We receive a lot of requests for information on St.
Croix condos for sale. People search the MLS and start seeing condos for
sale for as little as $20,000. In many cases, these inexpensive condos are
impacted by various negative aspects (even though they may be on the water),
and in general, many of the properties are not very well maintained. I asked
myself, "if I was looking for an inexpensive condo on the island, where
would I buy?" Of all the condos on St. Croix (and there are a ton of
them) I would look at The Reef, and I will list the reasons why below. It
just seems to me that The Reef is a sleeper, in terms of both sales and
rentals. I took the photographs on this page to try to give a feeling for

The above photo shows the general area around the reef.
The condos are the white dots at the right of the photo, but due to the
angle of the photograph, they appear further from the water than they actually
are. Because the condos are higher in elevation, they get very nice views.
The neighboring houses are in the $750,000 - $1,000,000 plus range and sitting
further up the hill (and further away from the beach) is Villa Madeleine
where the condos on the market are priced over $400,000.
We believe The Reef condos are a good value because:
- Great general location in an area with rising property
values.
- Friendly scale compared to the typical multi-story
condo blocks.
- Interesting floor plans.
- You can walk to the Reef beach.
- Nice sea views from the units.
- Good vacation rental potential with golf and easy
beach access available (see photo below).
- One of the islands best restaurants is located adjacent
to the property, and there is also a nice little convenience store with
a deli serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- The exterior of units and grounds are well maintained
and nicely landscaped.
- Very nice pool and entertainment facility.
- Close to the St. Croix Yacht Club, and other good
East End beaches and restaurants - 15 minutes from Christainsted.
- Security on the premises.
